Open Hack 15 – 15.2hh was won by Sue Thompson’s Starstruck, 2nd Channel Hunter’s Crewe, 3rd Sarah Love’s Manorvale Blue And Royal, 4th M Paynter’s Grandeur Heart N Soul, 5th D Johnson-Mcneil’s SLM Mastermind and 6th C Remington’s Willowcroft Chance Encounter.

15.2 – 16hh Sue Thompson is having a great day with her second hack Concerto winning this class, 2nd Laura Mow’s Lauriston Park Chatsworth, 3rd R Addison’s Boyfriend, 4th Susan and Victoria Grost’s Rock Stardom, 5th R Weaver’s Jarendan Just It and 6th J Mc Evoy’s Winter.

Open Hack 16-16.2hh was B Stanton’s Vienna Night Divine, 2nd A Ward’s OEH Eloquence, 3rd Janice Elliott & Adam Oliver’s High Fashion, 4th D Plumb’s DP Amazing, 5th S O’connor’s SLM Mercedes and 6th Clint Bilson’s Optimal.

Over 16.2hh was won by Alex Berwick & Sarah Mcmaster’s Xlerate, 2nd J Mcevoy’s Towering Inferno, 3rd Barrington & Christie’s Slm Orlando, 4th Penny Ahern’s Aston Martin, 5th Sarah McMaster’s Dynamic Fun and 6th Lee Family’s Tudor Park Gilded.

Novice Hacks

Today the hacks started with their novice section, 15-15.2hh won by D Johnson-Mcneil’s SLM Mastermind, 2nd Sarah Love’s Manorvale Blue & Royal, 3rd M Paynter’s Grandeur Heart N Soul, 4th I Mitchell’s Royalwood Centre Stage, 5th A Skilbeck’s Phoenix Aura and 6th B Williams’s Rosevale Design.

15.2-16hh was a big class, with some big moving horses as well, the winner was L Mow’s Lauriston Park Chatsworth, 2nd R Weaver’s Jarendan Just It, 3rd S Mcmaster’s Atmosphere, 4th Francene Treneman’s Lemracs Eclipse, 5th J McEvoy’s Winter and 6th MG Horse Education’s Grand Heist.

Alexa Ward put forward a great work out to secure the win in the 16-16.2hh class with her OEH Eloquence, 2nd K Joblin’s SLM Skyte, 3rd S Tappy’s Tudor Park Stars, 4th Clint Bilson’s Optimal, 5th Notman’s Bourbon Street and 6th Warhurst’s Lord Langtry.

The over 16.2hh winner was S McMaster’s Dynamic Fun, 2nd Lee Family’s Tudor Park Gilded, 3rd T Anderson’s Onyx and 4th N Monckton’s DM Player.

Best Novice Hack went to Alexa Ward’s OEH Eloquence

Providence Cup
The Providence Cup for show hunter hacks and galloways over 14 hands was judged by Mrs Christine Mallinson (VIC), Mr Dennis Heather (VIC), Ms Kelli Probert (SA), 31 horses had entered making this one of the larger classes for the day and was won by E Adams’s EBL Juliett.

Novice Show Hunter, Over 16 Hands was won by Sarah O’connor’s Mayfield Whim, 2nd was E Krog’s Di Cavalli Donsebastian, 3rd A Sznicer’s Larundel Geisha, 4th S Hanger’s Chosen One, 5th Megan Cheeseman’s Gleneagles Giorgio and 6th M Hocking’s Jollibe.

15-16hh winner was A Jacobi’s Royal Poet, 2nd G Kellock’s Daleford Dreams, 3rdG Ray’s Templeton Fantasia, 4th M Greene’s Shanlin Regal Beau Tie, 5th Carly & Cecil Thomas’s Criteria and 6th Pengelly’s Grand Image.

Best Novice Showhunter was won by Sarah O’connor’s Mayfield Whim sired by Whisper and out of Mayfield Kaatje.

Best Child’s Showhunter Hack of the show was Samantha McMaster’s DP Destiny sired by Desert King out of Lady Spectacular.

Show Hunter 15.2–16hh the winner was the very bold and super working J Veall’s Remi Rockefella, 2nd Laura Thomas’s On Fire, 3rd Bev Richards’s Dymondz, 4th Rachel Wessel’s Gervase Park Fractional, 5th S Aumann’s Tarintino and 6th Pengelly’s Grand Image (Imp).

Small Show Hunter hack winner was Sally Shaw’s Broadway Duntroon, 2nd A Jacobi’s Royal Poet, 3rd M Greene’s Shanlin Regal Beau Tie, 4th G Ray’s Templeton Fantasia, 5th H Tempany’s Shine For You, and 6th G Kellock’s Daleford Dreams.

Gentleman’s Show Hunter Hack was won by T Wilson’s Shakira Lp (Ger), 2nd B Albon’s The Russian, 3rd A Sznicer’s Larundel Geisha, 4th M Cheeseman’s Gleneagles Giorgio.

Lady’s Showhunter Hack was Laura Thomas’s On Fire. 2nd ex:480, 3rd Emily Hill’s Emmaville Contiki, 4th E Adams’s EBL Juliett HC, 5th R Wessel’s Gervase Park Fractional and 6th K Golder’s Chandon Park Contender.

The champion show hunter hack was judged on the circle which made for awesome viewing as they had to do complete lap at the gallop, the crowd got behind this super display with lots of cheering and clapping, with the horses taking it in their stride. The champion showhunter hack of the show was Sarah O’Connor’s Mayfield Whim, with reserve E Adams EBL Juliett HC.
