Qatar Airways 2014 Dressage Special Grand Prix CDI5* winner Melanie Hofmann of Switzerland won 5.000€ prize money on GB CAZZAGO C CH in the Qatar Airways 2014 Dressage Grand Prix Special.

President of the Ground Jury, Leif Törnblad said “The competition was very exciting. There was a very high standard of freestyle and we can be happy that such fantastic riders competed at this great venue”.

2nd Place Joyce HEUITINK of the Netherlands won 3.660€ prize money on Wup
3rd Place Anna Louise Ross Davies of Great Britain won 3.160€ prize money on Pegasus MK

ExxonMobil Qatar 2014 Dressage Freestyle Grand Prix CDI5* winner Nathalie zuSayn Wittgensteinfrom Denmark won 30.000€ on Digby in the ExxonMobil Qatar 2014 Dressage Freestyle Grand Prix.
Winner Princess Nathalie said “It’s a fantastic experience to win for the second time! I look forward to come back next year, but with a younger horse to use the opportunity to train it.”

Lone Bang Larsen, who came second, said “This is my first time here in Doha. Yesterday was great and today is even better. I really hope to come back next year. Everything from start to finish is perfectly organized.”

Third placed Patrick Kittel said “This is my second year together with Princess Nathalie, but she beat me again. I hope to have a re-match next year. Actually I am going to challenge both Danish girls next year!”

Show Jumping CSI5* Grand Prix Jump Off, 1.60 meter/2 Rounds with Jump Off with total prize money of EUR 650,000. Ludger Beerbaum from Germany won 214.500€ on Chiara.

Ludger explained that he enjoys jumping in Qatar “My horse likes the venue. This is my third show in Doha. In CHI AL SHAQAB 2013 I came in fourth with Chiara and in the Global Champions Tour final I placed second. I’ve now come first so you can imagine how happy I am. My horse enjoys the ring, the facilities, the stabling, the warm up area. You don’t find better anywhere in the world. I’m delighted.”

President of the Ground Jury Stephan Ellenbruch said “it’s a great competition, one you don’t have too often. Congratulations to Bob Ellis, the course designer. It’s perfect to be here with lots of people who work together to make a great show.”

Show Jumping CSI3* Grand Prix Qatar Foundation, Table A against the clock with Jump-Off with total prize money of 40.000€. Hamad Nasser Al Qadi of Qatar on Limoncello won 13.200€ in the 1.60 meter/Grand Prix AL SHAQAB.

2ndPlace Bassem Hassan Mohammed of Qatar on Anyway won 8.000€
3rdPlace Awad Al Qahtani of Qatar on Sjoeke 6.000€

Hamad, is 18 and has been riding since he was 4 years old. On his performance today said “I have been preparing for the Grand Prix and it’s really good to be first. Today my horse jumped really smooth.”
Bassem Hassan Mohammed placed second in this competition but came first in the Big Tours on Wednesday and Thursday at CHI AL SHAQAB 2014. He said “I had a very good jump today. I want to give my congratulations to the other riders. I am so happy with the results.”

After his fantastic success this week, Bassem doesn’t intend to take a break. He said “next week I am going to compete in Cannes and am preparing for the World Equestrian Games in Normandy in August”.
