It was a busy day with the open hacks and open show hunters  judging.  The winners were; Lady’s Hack – Dale Plumb’s  DP Amazing, Gentleman’s Hack – Notman & Parker’s  Bar None,  15-15.2hh Sue Thompson’s Starstruck II, 15.2-16hh the Lawrie’s & Jill Best Wordly, 16-16.2hh Dale Plumb’s Amazing and over 16.2 Bruce Flood’s Coventry. On the whole a good selection of hacks that should make for an interesting champion ride off.

The open showhunters also were judged today, the Gentleman’s show hunter hack winner was Sadie Michell’s History, Ladies showhunters Galloway winner was Gemma Salvestro’s Valley View Star City, Gentleman’s Galloway Michelle McKenzie’s Yindarla Park Identity, showhunter Hack 15-16hh Laura Thomas’s On Fire, showhunter hack over 16hh Kristin White’s Mayfield Be Brave and Ladies showhunter hack Kristin White’s Mayfield Be Brave.

Sue Brownrigg’s  Luminescent won the 15-16hh class and Melanie Kittel’s Diamond Edition the over 16hh winner competed today for the Best Novice Show Hunter Hack, which went to Luminescent.  Champion Junior Rider 14 -18years was Ruby Christoph and reserve was Sally Shaw.
